ABOUT
The Weatherhead School of Management sums up its philosophy in what it calls the “triple bottom line†— people, planet and profit. The school emphasizes design and sustainability, and over one-third of its incoming students majored in math, engineering or the sciences as undergrads. During the second semester, students take a course called Management Perspectives and Dialogues, which invites local businessmen into the classroom to talk through their current business problems with students. In their second year, students take year-long classes where they act as consultants on projects for local businesses. Beyond the classroom, students can get involved in a number of student clubs ranging from Dynamic Weatherhead Women In Business to Health Systems Management to Bioscience Club.
