Columbia Business School's reputation and focus has only grown under dean Glenn Hubbard, the former chair of the Council of Economic Advisers under George W. Bush. With about 100 graduate organizations and clubs, a hallmark event at Columbia Business School is the yearly A. Lorne Weil Outrageous Business Plan Competition that tests the entrepreneurial creativity and viability of students’ most ambitious business plans.
