ABOUT
The Stanford MBA, the toughest in the country to get in, engages the highest quality students with world-class faculty from across Stanford University's 7 schools, as well as alumni, Silicon Valley professionals, global executives, and the broader world community. The focus on individual attention and personal advancement reflects in its small class size and through several of its programs. The Global Management Immersion Experience requires all students to go abroad, either on an exchange program or through the student initiated service or study trip. The program called “Take a Professor to Lunch” facilitates higher student-faculty interaction through which students can sign up to meet any of their professors individually for a school-subsidized lunch. In Spring Quarter, all second-year students take the Synthesis Seminar, a capstone seminar designed to help students reflect on what they have learned throughout the program as well as what they want to accomplish after graduating.
