Students at UCLA Anderson enjoy a small student body and a community-oriented atmosphere that Anderson maintains even in such a large city. The school has several specialized centers, including the Laurence and Lori Fink Center for Finance & Investments, the Richard S. Ziman Center for Real Estate, and the UCLA Anderson Forecast. UCLA Anderson is one of about 10 schools involved in the Challenge for Charity, which raises funds for the Special Olympics, Junior Achievement, and Project ECHO. The Strategic Management Consulting Program pairs groups of five or six students with businesses all over the world to do consulting work. Student groups put in an average of 2,000 hours helping businesses with projects like launching new products. Students can also put their business skills to the test through competitions such as the UCLA Anderson High Tech Case Competition and the Knapp Venture Competition. Entertainment and media management is another key strength at Anderson.
