The University of Washington’s Michael G. Foster School of Business places high emphasis on collaborative learning where students learn team dynamics whether it’s through study teams or through a guided climb of Mount Rainie. Most graduates live in Washington, giving students a strong alumni network nearby. Microsoft and Amazon, both of which have headquarters within 20 minutes of campus, are among the school’s top-hiring firms. Over one-third of 2012 graduates went into marketing after graduation. The school is expanding — it opened one new building in 2010 and another in 2012.
