With a history of nearly 100 years, the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota has experiential learning at its core and a highly ranked research productive faculty. Students are provided opportunities to take their education beyond the classroom by partnering with a vibrant and diverse businesses community that includes 19 Fortune 500 companies. Students can explore four different Enterprise programs — Brands, Consulting, Ventures, and Funds — where students are expected to address challenges and create results for real clients. More than 40% of the Carlson MBA class get recruited into marketing. The Carlson School integrates a global approach by requiring all graduate students to incorporate an international experience into their studies. Known as the Global Discovery Program, the course explores topics that have an impact on businesses worldwide and is then followed up with a two-week international experience.
